Choicer Voicer Twitch — Bring Chat Into the Show

The game's official motto: 'Make a fool of yourself for you, your friends, or your stream!' Twitch Streamer Mode lets chat vote on performances — here is everything verified about it.

What Is Twitch Mode?

The Choicer Voicer is designed around streams: the official page describes it as "a game show where your voice is the star" — "Make a fool of yourself for you, your friends, or your stream!" The built-in Twitch Streamer Mode lets the streamer connect the game to Twitch so chat can vote on every performance.

Since the 0.5.0 update there is also Panelist voting: up to 5 usernames can appear on the judging panel and get scored like local players, so a streamer's community can actually compete in the show. Twitch mode is not online multiplayer — it is broadcast plus chat voting; official online multiplayer does not exist.

Chatter Packs (Twitch Streamers Only)

Chatter Packs arrived with 0.5.0: voice content submitted by the streamer's chat, usable only by Twitch streamers. The official TCV Hub tutorial explains how to make and enable them:TCV Hub · Chatter Packs Guide →

How to Enable It (Suggested Flow)

The official pages do not publish a step-by-step setup script, so treat this as a practical flow based on the documented features:

  1. Check the official itch.io page for the current build. Twitch-related additions documented here require version 0.5.0 or later.
  2. Open the game settings and look for the Twitch/stream options (Twitch Streamer Mode).
  3. Test your microphone in the free "No Gameplay Demo 0.5.0" first if you ever hit the known mic bug.
  4. Start a game and check that chat voting appears for viewers; Panelist voting supports up to 5 usernames on the judging panel.
  5. For Chatter Packs, follow the official TCV Hub chatter pack tutorial and enable them with the /chatter command during your stream.

How Viewers Can Join In

  1. Watch on the official Twitch directory so you land on real streams: twitch.tv/directory/category/the-choicer-voicer.
  2. Type in chat — in Twitch Streamer Mode the chat votes on each performance.
  3. If the streamer enables Panelist voting, up to 5 usernames appear on the judging panel and are scored like local players.
  4. A Chatter Pack changes the game's voice content to voices submitted by the streamer's chat — every viewer can feel the show.
  5. Never pay anyone who claims they can "add you to the stream" — official features are free and in-game.
